In most cases IVF and ICSI treatments take place without the need for hospitalization. It is then neither necessary, nor possible for you to spend the night in hospital. Nevertheless, the forfeit 'Surgical Day Hospital' will be taken into account for certain procedures such as egg cell pick up. This is a form of hospitalization whereby you may leave the hospital on the same day as the procedure and is fully covered by your health insurance. See also financial. |
