Procedures and Operations for Women

Practical information regarding procedures under local or general anaesthetic.
Here you can find an overview of all possible procedures you can have in the CRG as a woman. If you want more information regarding a specific procedure, click on it.
  • We begin with the gynaecological interventions, which although separate from fertility treatment, can sometimes be necessary before the commencement thereof or have the opposite effect (sterilization).
  • In the section medically assisted pregnancy, you will find detailed information over the different kinds of fertility treatment
  • Artificial insemination can also be accompanied by ovulation induction, but this treatment is discussed separately.

  • The same is true for IVF/ICSI treatment, which includes a stimulation course and much more. The overview of procedures is given below. The full explanation can be found in the IVF/ICSI chapter.

  • Below you can find the (extra) possible procedures that can follow IVF treatment.

  • The overview concludes by showing the possible examinations for prenatal checks.
