Information specific to Overseas Patients


When coming to the CRG for a treatment for the first time, you will be asked to fill in a questionnaire regarding your medical and family history. You can download the form here, print it and fill it out in advance: questionnaire woman, questionnaire man.

If you wish to commence fertility treatment at UZ Brussel, without having to be in Brussels for the duration of the treatment, please contact the CRG secretary initially:

She will provide you with information regarding the course of treatment and aspects specific for overseas patients.
On this site, you can also download a copy of the brochure 'Medically assisted Conception' A guide to your treatment. You can also download examples of the various treatment schemes which are implemented at the CRG.
 
In the opening pages of the website, you will find in depth information about the CRG. We are multilingual and pluralistic. This means that we respect and value all religions and beliefs. Do not hesitate to inform us of any religious factors which may affect your availability during your treatment.
 
For overseas patients, or rather for all patients travelling from abroad in order to be treated in Brussels, the organization of the treatment is slightly different in the beginning. Further information is to be found under IVF for overseas patients.
Of course, the majority of formalities at the CRG apply to all patients. See administrative details for more.
 
If during your treatment at the CRG, you have cells and tissue frozen and stored (tissue, sperm, embryos...) it may be that you wish to have them transferred to your own country.
