What does treatment cost for overseas patients?

Patients who are not covered by the Belgian Health Insurance System, must pay a fixed cost for procedures at the CRG. For information regarding the costs, click on the form below. The first page contains the interventions for the female partner (and other information), on page two you will find those for the male partner (and other information).

GENERAL PRINCIPLES

> Additional interventions and investigations (hysteroscopy, selective embryo reduction, etc.) are calculated apart.

> The same goes for your first meeting with the gynaecologist at the CRG (the fee must be paid after the consultation) and for every investigation which must be carried out before you treatment can begin (ultrasound scan, sperm analysis, etc).

> The quoted prices do not include the price of medication.

> The prices quoted apply per treatment.

> If two treatments are combined, their costs must be added together. For example, an IVF treatment in combination with TESE under general anaesthetic would cost: €4,200 + €1,800 + €800 = €6,800.

CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT

> Medicine prescribed for your treatment is to be collected from the pharmacy in UZ Brussel. They are to be paid for in Euro, either by cash or credit card (Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard or American Express).

> The full payment for the IVF treatment must have reached us by two weeks before the start of treatment at the latest. Checks will be made when you register at the admissions desk for admission, regardless of the intervention you have come for, to see whether your payment is up to date.

We are sorry to inform you that your treatment can neither be started nor continued if this should not be the case.

Please also remember that payment does not guarantee a succesful pregnancy. We can only assure you of our best professional care, attention and help, and that we shall do all we can to ensure that your treatment is as effective as possible.

If for some reason you do have to be admitted for hospitalization during your treatment, a personal cost will be applied for every night that you spend in hospital. If in that case you specifically request a single room, the cost of your treatment will be higher.

Payment for treatment may be completed either with a credit card or credit transfer. Cash and personal cheques are not accepted.
